To make sure you are fully prepared to come with all your own equipment, here's a list of items to bring with you:

  1. Snorkeling Mask: Invest in a good-quality snorkeling mask that fits well and provides a clear view underwater.
  2. Snorkel: A good snorkel tube allows you to breathe comfortably while floating face down in the water.
  3. Fins: Snorkeling fins help you swim more efficiently and cover greater distances while conserving energy.
  4. Rash Guard or Wetsuit: Consider bringing a rash guard or wetsuit, especially if you're prone to sunburn.
  5. Reef-Safe Sunscreen: To protect yourself and the delicate coral reefs, opt for reef-safe sunscreen without harmful chemicals like oxybenzone and octinoxate.
  6. Underwater Camera: Raja Ampat offers breathtaking underwater scenery, so if you have a waterproof camera or action camera, bring it along to capture those memories.
